FAB 1 not only makes a statement, but it has a few tricks up its sleeve as well.  A dampening field makes eavesdropping on conversations inside (electronic or otherwise) nearly impossible.  The body and windows are bulletproof, the solid tires puncture-proof and the cabin and engine compartment are air-tight, allowing Fab 1 to escape underwater should it need to.
